    The idea those people are executing on is pretty god damn brilliant, right up until the part where they are harassing parking ticket enforcers.  At that level, you simply have to except the fact that those folks are simply doing their job.  This isn't the same as "I was just doing my job" when actual atrocities are being committed.  Leave the labor alone on that one.

    If the city is getting upset about lost revenue on parking tickets, then there's definitely something that needs to be discussed.  RELYING on penalties/fines as a source of revenue is something I've always been disgusted by.  Having it there, and accounting for it, is one thing.. but going out of their way to make sure it stays in place is wildly absurd.  It smacks of all those stories where highway patrol officers are pulling over out-of-state travelers just to confiscate their stuff.

      ...has no problem with them filling the meters; it's the taunting the employees that they have a problem with.

      The lawsuit does not deny group members' right to videotape and takes no issue with them filling expired parking meters, but said there is a concern that the three parking enforcement officers will quit.
