  •  I used to think the GOP's shenanigans (9+ / 0-)

were cheeky and fun now they seem more cruel and tragic. In a way I kinda hope she doesn't run if only to see that deer in headlights look on all their faces when they realize they bet on the wrong horse.

My totally off the wall prediction - Hillary will act like like she's going to run. She'll set up committees and do all the exploratory stuff, and might even file in a few states' primaries.

The GOP will go nuts and run a ton of very expensive ads, mailers, etc., trying to destroy her. They'll spend a TON of money, because that's what the GOP does (and they don't budget very well either).

And then, probably around SuperTuesday, she'll announce that she's dropping out.

The GOP will spend the next 2 months running around in circles, refusing to believe that she's NOT running anymore, and the real Dem candidates will have a free ride in defining themselves (and tearing down the GOP) almost until the convention.

At which time Hillary will give a kickass speech introducing the candidate, Obama will join her in campaigning for him/her and for a lot of downticket candidates, and the GOP is left still talking about Benghazi while our guys talk about the future.

I honestly wasn't sure if Hillary was going to run or not in 2016, but I'm thinking the Republicans are going to piss her off just enough for her to come back and kick their butts all over the map.

    •  right, that would be the best joke on them (0+ / 0-)

there is a way to shame Republicans away from using the "What difference does it make?" line as a lie?  They are implying that Clinton was indifferent to the deaths of the victims, when actually she was referring to whether it was terrorism or some other kind of murder.

Every time I hear someone complain about Benghazi and how Obama doesn't care about the four who were killed there, I want to ask them  about the 26 who were brutally murdered in Newtown Conn.

"Why don't you want to take measures to prevent another incident like that one?  Don't you care about 6 year-old children?"
