taking more and more of an interest in the New Jersey Governor's Race.  I know how far Buono is in the polls but I like the direction she's going in hitting Christie on guns.  Now maybe I'm crazy but I think Buono can pull an upset victory.  I wouldn't be surprised if Christie still won but I'm starting to think Buono's chances might be improving.  I think they might be better than T-Mac in Virginia against the Kooch because that's a race between Mr. Un-Likable vs. Bat Shit Crazy.

Also, Merkley's long over due for a diary from me and I think May will go to Ed Markey and Rick Weiland in South Dakota.  I went through my diaries to see who I wrote about the most each month.  Merkley was the top written Senator by yours trull three months in a row (Jan, Feb & March).  Minnesota diaries about Franken, Dayton and Graves won April.

        •  Sorry, but yes, you're "crazy." (0+ / 0-)

Christie's, unfortunately, got the mojo.  One add running now says that Buono voted to raise taxes (like) 164 times and Christie is just so wonderful.

The corrupt Democratic machine in two counties in Jersey ain't never gonna get behind Buono, never -- they'll do what they did to Corzine.  (Yeah, yeah, Corzine, I know, but I'd take him over Christie any day of the week.)

That said, I hope you're right.  I truly do.

But for some reason, Jersey votes for Dems in Congress but often votes for a republican governor, even though Jersey is a blue state.  Or once was.  We'll see.
