    observed asteroid.  You cannot resolve its features with any telescope, but you can see fluctuations in magnitude.  Nevertheless, you know that the orbit is decaying (or growing).  I wonder if you can use the Yarkovsky effect to back-calculate the shape of the asteroid (potato, dumbell, sphere), since you know just about everything else about it?
