    an old white guy, one who has never swallowed their anchor, and not the only one either. They can spin and spew and gerrymander too, but this will pass as well. As of today they cannot win the Presidency in the foreseeable future, are marginal in the Senate and these shenanigans are unlikely to win them any more votes in the House. IMO this will play out over the next six years at the end of which they will be a fading, distasteful memory, a rump, regional and nationally irrelevant force. Which, I believe is the fundamental motivation for their increasingly desperate clutching at straws. They do indeed protest too much.

      way electors are chosen in the states to do it by Congressional district. If they did it that way, a huge popular majority for a non-Republican candidate could easily be nullified by the biased Congressional districts.

      While Democrats work to get more people to vote, Republicans work to ensure those votes won't count.
