    Noone was audited.  Some conservative groups--along with some liberal groups--were subjected to additional review when they applied for a determination that they were tax-exempt.

    The consequence of not getting that determination?  Nothing--a (c)(4) group is tax exempt whether or not it gets a determination, and none of the groups affected has said that they filed or paid taxes while waiting for their determination.

      conservative and wealthy individuals were audited after criticizing Obama to show that Noonan has drunk fully at the Kool-aid stand. Go back and read the OP and you'll see immediately whom and what I was referring to and why.

      Nixon actually ordered the IRS to audit his political enemies. But Noonan can only insinuate the same about Obama because SHE HAS NO EVIDENCE, the McCarthyite . . . (expletive deleted)
