    hot and bothered.
    That worked for them in 2004, but things that outrage the right these days are being recognized more and more as fake scandals, ginned up by the talking points guys and repeated ad nauseum by the right wing media.
    And half the time, their stories don't even match.
    There was an article on TPM the other day that Drudge linked to and the comment section was invaded by right wing trolls.
    One guy said no one could get hold of Clinton that night and the Obama's were out partying and ignored phone calls.
    Two comments down from that another guy claims that both Clinton and Obama watched the whole thing on live video and did nothing.
    It was bizarre.

      as much as it is a reflection of that base's psychological makeup. They talk this way because their voters think this way; they think this way themselves, because they come from that population.

        The base is getting smaller and more and more paranoid.
        I found out a month or so ago that current our state legislature in Topeka (KS) is the least educated one the state has ever had. It shows in the bills, too.
