because the MSM is really fried about it and it is providing a wake to pull along both the IRS problems and Benghazi.

I think the President is doing a good job with the IRS issue. I think you will see at least two more senior managers resign this next week. Lois Lerner, Director of Exempt Organizations, has retained William Taylor III, a high profile criminal defense attorney. The other is Holly Paz, the Director of Rulings and Agreements. Because these are career civil servants they are entitled to due process. However, I believe you will see them make deals to resign in return for immunity from criminal prosecution and retention of the federal benefits they have vested.

is that Republicans are going slow on it because they called for the investigation in the first place.

Best case--look for a couple of lawyers to resign and the shield law finally getting passed.

If the shield law gets obstructed again, I hope Democrats use that as a bludgeon to show the media:

"See?  We tried to protect you TWICE, but they blocked it twice".

I think this will eventually boil down to the DoJ did a little too much in the leak investigation.

      This too will pass.

Not because anything illegal happened, but because NOTHING illegal happened.  It all fell within the sweeping powers we as a nation have given the President (whoever he is) to sweep up any and all communications from anyone without a judicial warrant--all in the name of "national security".
