  •  The DNC broke my one telephone rule. Don't call (12+ / 0-)

me if your phone number is going to show up on my telephone as UNAVAILABLE.

At first I just refused to answer.  But after being called day after day - sometimes multiple times per day - I answered the phone.  I told them not to call me back until Democrats loudly denounce attempts to cut social security and medicare.

Yes, I realize some of them do, and if I donate, it will be to those folks, thank you very much, and I can do it without your help.  But do not call me at all if you are going to hide your identity.

They kept calling, driving me crazy.  Finally, I decided to drive them crazy by answering the phone and setting it down right in front of Fox News, thinking they would conclude they were calling a teabagger.

Didn't work.  Still calling.  Still UNAVAILABLE.  And so am I.

Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed. --Herman Melville
