      All I remember about him is that he was the imbecile who told John Kerry not to respond to the Swift Boat allegations in any effective way.

        McAuliffe looks great compared to this nut job.  All he has to do is keep his eye on the ball and work with Obama to restore some defense cuts here in VA (which means jobs... sorry but we have got to win this thing).  Then he can show that while Kooke can "fight the man" he can get things done.

      got the Kooch in as AG to tilt at federal windmills, the UVA faculty and waste money all the while doing all in his power to ban legal abortions and gay rights in the state. Even worse, if that can be imagined, these "enthusiasm" (as opposed to sane and rational) voters gave us a legislature at the critical time to gerrymander the state for the next decade.

      "Smart" move, really really smart—just keep it up and desert the maligned McAuliffe, along with every down ticket D, and see how great things are.
