  •  Thanks for the bucket of debris (4+ / 0-)

You found some really interesting things.  I am always impressed at how flat and wide those Atlantic beaches are.

We just got back home after a short trip to Victoria BC.  I'm trying to catch up on the buckets that appeared while we were gone.  Since we use the name "Daily Bucket," one would imagine that what we write here would have a short shelf life.  But they all stay interesting to me for quite a long time.  By this time, there is already another bucket up to read, so I better get to it.

    Thanks again for your insights.

    •  It is striking how much beaches vary (4+ / 0-)

from place to place.  The north Florida Atlantic coastline is incredibly straight and the beaches are sometimes steep and narrow.  The Georgia beaches I've seen (a limited sample) are less straight and like you say very flat and wide.
