We should demand that women be treated in a humane decent way or no more money for Afghanistan. That simple.  The US should not tolerate this.

no more money for the Gee Oh Pee and their campaign to deny women's sovrereignty over their own bodies.

no more money for Zero Tolerance, which gives, according to the completely fucked up US judicial system, schools the right to strip search children who might have an unauthorized Tylenol (or, godshelpus, an aspirin somewhere other than between her knees) on campus.

Women need to be treated as capable, equal, honored human beings, no matter where they're born or raised. Right here in the good old USA rape culture devalues women every day.

Right here in the good old USA it's damn near impossible to buy durable, comfortable, non-sexualized clothing for a girl bigger than two or three years old, and "fashion" wants them all to starve to size 0 but still have a bust like a Baywatch babe.

Right here in the good old USA employers are suing the government because mandated health benefits have to include birth control.

Right here in the good old USA women are denied prescription medications because some rathole Gee Oh Pee Chrystyun Taliban thinks his conscience is more important than her doctor's orders. Right here in the good old USA we have preachers calling for women to pray over their marriages when they're cheated on, because the women have done something wrong by being cheated on. Right here in the good old USA we have The Dixie Chicks, and what happened when one of them spoke the truth.

      We have Kiera Wilmot.

We have women faced with DO NOT WANT at the VA, or scorned as not possibly vets by the American Legion or the VFW.

We have women spat on by the military justice system, when they've been sexually molested by their coworkers / commanders. We have fighter jocks courts-martialed, convicted and then turned loose by those same damn clueless @$$h0le commanders.

None of this excuses the fucking Taliban. It just shows that we have them here too operating on their own Sharia code.

A woman-hating bastard is a woman-hating bastard whether he claims to be Islamic or Southern Baptist or Roman Catholic. There's not a spit-spot's worth of difference among them, and they have way too much political and financial power everywhere around the world.

except I would add that what they bring to the table should be valued regardless of what it is. A stay at home mom should be seen as offering a priceless value to society: a critically thinking, educated, loved child full of self-esteem that can contribute to society in a positive comprehensive way. When feminists embarked on women's rights, we fought to have women working in a 'man's world' arguing that we were capable of doing whatever a man can do, and yet we are still demanding that we be paid the same. We never demanded that what mothers bring to society was valuable and that choosing to go out into the workforce was an option that was JUST AS valuable...we replaced one for the other. And so until women's roles in society, ALL of them, are valued, we will continue to be seen as less worthy. Liberals have got to find common cause moms who believe they are providing just as great a service to society as those who work. Feminists don't believe that way, or so we are taught. We were fed the lie that you had to go out of the home to become 'valuable' and look where that got us.

      This is what they want.

Also, the people in Washington who are sending all the money don't care about women either.  They want a band of bloodthirsty tribesmen on the payroll to use against China and Russia; that was Britain's interest in Afghanistan back in the day - "civilizing" them would defeat the whole purpose.
