    They start buying American products

That they are going to buy so much of? It must be because I don't go in WalMart that I don't see all of these 'American products'.

Will some  of them send money back home? Sure. Not so many if you let whole families in, but some

Remittances to Mexico from the U.S. were about 22 billion for 2011, making up about 2% of Mexico's GDP and accounting for Mexico's largest source of foreign capital.

    Immigration builds the nation

And because that's what we are doing in the U.S., we're 'building a nation' just like in the 1800's, we're going to need a whole lot more unskilled uneducated workers, just like we did in the 1800's.

I myself am looking forward to getting a job working on a three hundred man pick and shovel cut crew for the new trans continental railroad next week.

more than most people think. We are still the largest manufacturer in the world (per wikipedia).  Plus there's a lot of US products that aren't manufacturing.  And there's more people needed to sell it

$22 Billion in the US Economy is a blip.

And yes, we are still building a nation. Not like in the 1880s, not like in the 1920s, but still.
