Celtic, sea, so alien to their world and repertoire, yet in one sense not: all of this is peoples' music. So much of the 50's-60's music revolution was peoples' music first brought out in its original forms, then evolved and commercialized at first surprisingly minimally.

On my teen birthday, the year I launched my Celtic player and sailboat racing careers, the song I heard the kids dancing to was "Light My Fire." Yet with all 4 of my 2 feet and 2 ears firmly planted in the 17th century, I loved it.
