  •  Corporate Tax holiday = Worst Possible Solution (7+ / 0-)

    Corporations already have an incentive to bring profits back home: shareholders want a return on their investment.

    Hot companies can create a bubble, but, at some point, investors want that money.  Whether current investors, or raiders drawn in by the whiff of huge killings, somebody will want that money.

    That is, by far, the biggest reason why a tax holiday is the height of curruptions and/or idiocy.

    The possibility of a tax holiday encourages investor patience.
    "Sure, I want my money now, but --- hey! I'll get a lot more if I'm just patient"

    Take that away, and the clock starts ticking.
