    I could do most things by myself, fortunately it was summer so elastic shorts and Tevas were the daily norm.  Hair, though, was a big problem but Mr. Light insisted on doing a french braid for me every morning! He's really good at it. I was so grateful, because my hair is normally to my waist and curly, so it's quite lively!

      Whenever I've broken anything previously, it's been on my left side. Not so lucky this time! I suspect the hardest part will be sleeping, because I may be reduced to sleeping on my back... or sleeping on the reclining sofa. Not fun, but it might be the only way for me to get a decent night of sleep.

      As it stands now, I sleep for 3-4 hours, wake up because of the pain, get up and take OTC painkiller, stay up for a while until they start to take effect, then go back to sleep for 2-3 hours. Not ideal, but I can mostly function.
