Turkey wants to be in the EU. European pressure makes much more difference to Turkey.

Obama is the Chickenshit-in-Chief for failing to stand up to Republicans on all their phony scandals, from the "beer summit," to Van Jones, "death panels," Shirley Sherrod, contraception, Benghazi, and the IRS.

Who's to say? Consider the timing of the statement with the draw down of police presence. Surely the possibility exists that US pressure had a role.

State Department statement seems to have led to a DIRECT withdrawal of police forces... so that's a good thing right? Even for hypocrites?
Unless you have evidence of a cause and effect relationship, nothing more exists than a possibility that US pressure had a role, as well as a possibility that US pressure had no role or that there was no US pressure.
