    for the sea beauty to start the day. Makes me wish I was one of those gulls flying in the sunset!

    Only smallish birds flying around my backyard in Cotter, Ark., today. Lots of mockingbirds holding up their wings to dry a bit after some rain last night. It's only 75 now going up to 89 with a good chance of thunderstorms late this afternoon. Hoping for a fine sunset :)

    The best thing I've seen this morning is a groundhog, a special delight because one of the neighbors was shooting them! Its body was light brown, tail dark brown, which makes me wonder if it was the young one I saw with a parent several weeks ago.
