  •  Well said, marsanges. (9+ / 0-)

And I was thinking of you when I read the mining story about Haiti.  How about you going there and working for a fair and safe mining system?  Eh?  You have the expertise and the moral backbone.  C'mon... you know you want to.  :)

    •  I got mailed (8+ / 0-)

a jop opening in Schenectady, NY. Well I looked it up and what did I see? that place lies between Amsterdam and Rotterdam! Really, you can see for yourself! That was kind of funny, since I already live between Amsterdam and Rotterdam ...

Haiti? uh .. dont you think they have already enough foreigners there? I read, and can vividly believe, that that is one of their major problems - a foreign funded for-foreign-benefit econ operation on their soil.

I´m not sure. I witness the slow tanking of my own company, and I know its now the time for making one last large step. Not much time left. Put out my feelers, but I must say the US is not a very attractive place these days.

Ach, we´ll see. Going back to reading the moomins on my pillow :)

this one, not that one.  ;)  You two would get along famously... both melancholic...  ;)

The US?  Same as it ever was...
