    have searched for in vain recently.  It showed that Mexico saw 1.5 million subsistence corn farmers lose their livelihood due to NAFTA. And the majority of those who had to leave their land in order not to starve to death went to two places:  Mexico City or the USA.

    It was no secret what was happening. But everyone from Clinton to Bush to Obama didn't really care.  In fact, Obama has been perfectly happy to deport more Mexicans than any other US president in history, beating W Bush's 8 year record in only 4 years. (and that despite his unambiguous promise for "comprehensive immigration reform" within the first year in office)
