Midnight Riot -- and loved it.  It's a mystery with paranormal aspects set in London.  The voice of the writing is very well done -- so well that I would now like to listen to the audiobook.  Highly recommended!

I am now reading Breakfast with Buddha, a road trip novel.

As for re-reading, P.G. Wodehouse has always been dependable for me.  I am particularly fond of the Mulliner stories.  If ever I feel low, a Wodehouse story always puts things in a brighter light for me.

are so funny.  I know everyone thinks of the Jeeves stories when they think of Wodehouse -- but there is so much more in his works.

The Golf stories are really good too.  I used to have a collection of them and wish I could find one again...

cfk, you will love "Midnight Riot".  In England, the book was titled, "The Rivers of London" -- because a major story line in the book is about a turf war between the spirits of the rivers of London, many of which are now underground.  But I don't want to give too much away...
