    well be a victim of a new terrorist incident.

    Nevertheless, I do not want these surveillance state measures.  I'm willing to take the risk of becoming a victim of terrorism, rather than acquiesce in measures that take away my freedom.

      about the loss of freedom of journalists (such as we have), politicians, protesters, etc. because that affects EVERYONE'S freedom. I personally don't have anything juicy to snoop, but the chilling effect on the categories above is daunting. And actually, I have attended protests and I cheered Occupy from the sidelines, so, yeah, even those limited categories include me.
