    it looks like a win win situation for the Blue Team, but what the Repugs clearly plan to do is water down the current legislation and then block any real reform in the hope of taking the senate in 2014.

      all of the recent reporting I've seen seems to indicate that the GOP is working hard to make the immigration bill more oppressive i.e. additional conditions for citizenship and more aggressive security measures.

      I do agree that House GOP plan is to essentially block any real reform.  The question remaining is whether Boehner will permit this strategy to go forward or will he assemble a coalition in support of reasonable legislation with majority support from democrats?
