    to examine the law thoroughly, and make a large part of it illegal.  If President Obama, whom I have supported through many decisions I disagreed with--some firmly-- wants me to support him on this, he must be very straightforward in demanding that the law be pared down, made more transparent, and many of its powers be given back.  The widespread use of private contractors must especially be examined and in many cases withdrawn.  And our whistleblower, if he returns to the States, must be treated in an exemplary manner, with every one of his legal rights respected, and very publicly so.  

    If these conditions prevail, if President Obama and his Administration work with Congress to put to rights the worst excesses of this law, I will support him.  If not, then sadly, many of what currently seem to be overblown criticisms will be proven true.
