When all you do is talk to people who are owners, talk to folks who are Type A’s who want to succeed economically, we’re talking to a very small group of people,” he said.
See, most people don't want to succeed. Only a very small group of people have the drive and determination to make something of themselves.

He's still 10 pounds of bullshit in a 4 pound bag.

I once had a big boss, director of engineering, who literally told a large group of us engineers that if we really wanted to succeed in this world, we would leave the US.  We should (in my words) become economic traitors to the nation, become economic mercinaries, and go out seeking our fortunes.  We should move to Shanghi, Kuala Lampur, Bangalor, Dubai.  We should follow the money, dedicate our lives to paper chasing, and be as rich as possible.

Absent in all of that is that I didn't want to leave Chicago, my family, my friends, my home.  I do want to succeed economically in that I want to be able to pay my mortgage on a small home and live comfortably.
But no, I don't want the massive mansion and BMW if it means the stress of working 80 hours a week, flying all over the globe and never seeing my wife.

Also, HOW do we get rich.  I sleep very well at night knowing I earn my money by producing new designs, by truly building wealth.  I don't steal my money from other people doing the real work the way most Republicans do.

I do think it's true that no, most people don't want to succeed the way most CEOs do, by lying and stealing.
