Not familiar with the notion of the Some Dude, here's the definition from the DKE Living Glossary (maintained—with our great gratitude—by SaoMagnifico):

Some Dude: Some candidates start out with certain built-in advantages: They already hold office, they have personal wealth, or they have a prominent public profile. Some Dude has none of these. If you Google Some Dude's name, you'll find very little information-probably just the news article or blog post where they were first mentioned as a possible candidate. A good hint you're dealing with a Some Dude is that they're described as an "activist" or "Tea Party member" in press accounts. Note: Some Dudes sometimes win!

the wonderfulness of the DKE Living Glossary! :-)

Loserspeak: Language and phrasing used by losers. Loserspeak tends to signify impending defeat. Examples of loserspeak include: "The only poll that matters is on Election Day;" "Our supporters don't care how much money we raise;" and "D.C. insiders are trying to handpick our opponent." Taken together, these three gems form the mythical "loserspeak trifecta". According to ancient Mayan prophesy, if the trifecta is ever completed in a single speech or press release, it will signify the sudden end of the Age of Aquarius and plunge the world into a second, extremely whiny darkness.

Fry, don't be a hero! It's not covered by our health plan!
