And I think what it should be is "It's failing, and you're being lied to," with the names of Sykes, Walker, Belling and such rotating in various parts of the state. Because not only is that true, it plants the seed into the minds of the casual voter who knows things are going wrong, but doesn't have the time or interest to look into these things.

And at the same time, it puts pressure on our media to put in an effort to DO THEIR JOBS and try to give people the truth, instead of two sides of spin. The second step then becomes the specifics (horrible jobs and wage numbers, exploding deficit starting in 2015, idiotic social issue pandering to the anti-choice crowd that the vast majority disagrees with). But I think you start now, and make the WisGOPs answer for their failing record NOW, instead of giving them a year to come up with some BS propaganda campaign that can deflect from it in Summer and Fall 2014.

    •  So HOW do we get this done? It has to be via a (0+ / 0-)

Legal entity where contributors names do not have to be revealed as contributors to the billboard fund specifically.  If and when billboards hit local communities, it will be the talk of local towns.  The ReTHUG leaning media WILL try to expose those responsible. Too many public employees, working people, and local business owners, who hate what has happened to their state, are too vulnerable to contribute if their names will be exposed. If Karl "Rover" can hide his wealthy contributors from public accountability, it is even more important for vulnerable  working class people.

Robber Baron "ReTHUGisms": John D. Rockefeller -"The way to make money is to buy when blood is running in the streets"; Jay Gould -"I can hire one half of the working class to kill the other half."
