    I pretty much agree that I don't know how much harm it would possibly do to know how many FISA requests a particular company received.  We know that FISA requests information from all kinds of places, so it's not like they're tipping off much of anything, and a simple check like that would let everyone know that it's not being used overzealously.

    Maybe it's because I used to administrate my own website and online community, but I've always felt that you can't post anything on the Internet without it being read by someone.  Any administrator can go into the database and read anything you submit.  If I were plotting something undesirable, I'd be operating under the assumption that everything I submitted on the Internet was capable of being retrieved.
