  •  Here in Indiana, the Republican supermajority has (0+ / 0-)

    surprisingly ordered a review of Common Core, which was Tony Bennett's baby.

    Basically it united the Democrats and Teabaggers in forcing him out and voting in Glenda Ritz with more votes than Mike Pence got.  And he knows this, because after making sore loser noises about wanting to eliminate the position and make it a governor-appointed one, and having the legislature strip all the power from her, they've settled down and are actually working together.

    Anyway, the big question in Indiana has been:

    "If the Indiana State Standards were supposed to be so good (they are), why do we need Common Core?"
