    Privacy used to include your fully fenced back yard.

    But with google earth, drones, etc., well screw it...Technology has made things increasingly more "observable," so it reduces the amount of privacy you should "reasonably expect...."

      back yard.... I had not considered that differences in  definitions of privacy might be based on class differential, up to this point, but I believe you may be right. Would you care to elaborate?

      At least half the future I've been expecting hasn't gotten here yet. Sigh.... (Yes, there's gender bias in my name; no, I wasn't thinking about it when I signed up. My apologies.)
