  •  I think it's human nature for people to be angrier (5+ / 0-)

at people in their own party who disagree with them. The old purity thing.

Other than Bloomberg the entire country is very quiet about gunz. Even DK seems to be going through one of those stages of grief.

    •  Wowza, talk about out of touch. (10+ / 0-)

I invite you to put forth this theory while standing on any street corner in Newtown.

      •  He said nothing about Newtown... (0+ / 0-)

...simply a observation that there was an on-going stage of grief and not much mention of this after the NSA and other "revelations."

He didn't sugest it should be forgotten. Only that Bloomberg aside, the focus has drifted -however "wrong" that is- from gun safety reform to the latest shiny object.

I hope the focus comes back to gun violence and the tragedy which stems from it. ALL PREVENTABLE. But don't look to Congress to do ANYTHING until we vote out the teabaggers and yellow-dogs.

Obama is going to need all the help he can get in the next two-and-a-half years.

Let concentrate on getting Democrat asses in House Seats, and making sure we get 60+ votes in the Senate!!
