and yet another diary telling us all what we already know--Sarah Palin is a moron.

I'm sorry, I know the diarist means well (and I'll still tip this). But the fun died for me during last years' debates, when I realized that guys like Lawrence O'Donnell and Sean Hannity actually sat down and talked to one another like they were old buddies (no, I don't have a picture--yes, this really happened, during the third debate, off-camera). That, more than anything else, said to me that ALL OF this TV Talking Head Presentation is a giant put-on, from top to bottom. And we're the suckers that keep tuning in.

(yeah, I know, I know; "They're colleagues and should be civil to one another"-of course they should, they're grown-ups. But it was more than "Hi, how ya doin'", which also suggests that in Hannity's case, in particular, his schtick is all a fucking act.... I'm done buying in to any of it....)

      And here you are.

With the Fox Outrage people, especially, I've thought it was an act for years and years now. I once stumbled upon a YouTube video that compared the faux outrage pundit Stephen Colbert to Glenn Beck, video clip by video clip: the shaking fists, the tears, the feelings of persecution, the outrage.

It was very clear that 1. Stephen Colbert is a genius at parody 2. Beck is an utter fraud 3. Both.

I think Hannity, the Fox Friends, all of them are frauds: just thinly veiled acts.

O'Donnell can prove his bonafides as to who he is.

I agree with you that Hannity's schtick is an acting job that pays the bills.

Finally, as to your final point about Talking Heads Presentation, Dylan Ratigan now says the same thing.

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.

Hey, I didn't write it--and it would still be here whether I commented or not, now, wouldn't it? ;)

And yeah, O'Donnell is the only one that actually has bona-fides for that job he's got as an op-ed mover/shaker. But that doesn't make the kind of nonsense being reported--on his show or any other--any less fake. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

And Dylan Ratigan? He didnt' last long, did he? You think all that truth-telling he did was to blame?
