      If you get a chance to try the higher elevations in late summer it is worth checking out. I can recommend camping at White Wolf. I posted a photo diary of a hike from there last year. You could find that diary at the link near the top of the comments. If you are into backpacking or long day hikes Ten Lakes is a nice spot that isn't too far from there. It is on the same quadrangle topo map. You need a back country permit to camp at Ten Lakes and it is a popular spot. Plan ahead if you want to go there.
