  •  I agree. (5+ / 0-)

When I read how he had cut off the KJ, etc., I was pretty pleased.  Nothing confirms a story like that kind of behavior.

And then to follow it up with that line about vaseline ...

    Please proceed, Governor.  :-)

I don't mean to be unkind to the people of Maine because Ohio has John Kasich to put-up with but this guy is very crewed.

Why do people keep getting fooled by these low lifes ?

with a weakish Democrat and a strong independent. They split the non-bagger vote.

proponent of run off voting, and not a fan of multi party or person races. You often end up w/someone that a minority voted for. Minnesota got Jesse Ventura as a governor that way, w/just 33% of the vote. He was OK in the beginning, but then devolved to a thin skinned pain in the butt.

      •  Because Eliot Cutler split the vote. (2+ / 0-)

He lost the Dem primary to Libby Mitchell, and rather than accept the will of the Dems he ran as an independent.  LePetomaine got in with just under 39% of the vote, but acts like he won in a landslide.  Many Maine cars bear bumper stickers with an outline fo the state of Maine and the number "61%" inside.

Cutler plans on running again (as an independent) next time around, so we are more than a little trepidacious.

To his credit, he is also proposing either a run-off system or a ranked vote process.

But I don't want to give him credit for anything other than being an egotist of the first order.

    •  Now if Obama might just cut off the national press (0+ / 0-)

      like Faux Noise...

Hell, they already make up stuff anyway.

Now if he would shut off the NY Times and WA Post, and the networks, we might be better informed about what really is going on in Washington.
