    I think all we have to do is switch from Magnetic heading to True heading. The GPS does all the rest.

    This is what the 757 systems manual says:

    Magnetic heading and track are not available in polar regions. Magnetic reference
    is provided between N73° and S60° latitude. Above these latitudes
    only true headings are available.

    If the pilot's good, see, I mean if he's reeeally sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low... oh you oughta see it sometime. It's a sight. A big plane like a '52... varrrooom! Its jet exhaust... frying chickens in the barnyard!
