  •  Ah yes, the private conversations. (8+ / 0-)

    I'm so glad that I rarely have those, and when I do it's about dogs,veterinary issues, recipes, and stuff like that.

    These private conversations do seem to be at the root of many of this community's conflicts --  from my removed perspective, at least.

    Ok. Well. I gave you my thoughts.

    If I'm "simply wrong" as you say,  then I guess I'm wrong.  {shrug}

    I'm heading out now.

    Have a good evening.

    So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.

    •  I wasn't saying that was the reason (0+ / 0-)

      I write about this - it's just that the things I'm told support my own perceptions of what's going on.

      •  Honestly? How stupid do you think we are? (0+ / 0-)
        I've had private communications where I was strongly urged to continue writing diaries like this
         I wasn't saying that was the reason ...I write about this - it's just that the things I'm told support my own perceptions of what's going on.
        So you can't read what you just wrote. Or your words don't mean what they say.

        Or is this where you tell me I'm simply wrong again?

        What's sad is that I support the President, as you do.

        But I'm not going to stand by while someone insults much of the community and then misrepresents his motivation for writing the diary.

        I really have no idea what's going on in those "private conversations."

        But openly, I'm asking for this sort of crap to stop. If people can't speak to each other about politics  on the boards as adults, they probably should rethink why they're here.
