and the truth needs to come out - and I don't know whether the women are telling the truth or not.  Do you?  Don't you think that rape needs investigation?

The account I have seen (in The Guardian, not known for being a government mouthpiece)  is of what we'd call rape.

I am at a loss to understand why a deal has not been done which allows extradition to Sweden but prevents it to the US; and am very suspicious as a result.  Where the glitch in this may be, I don't know.

What more do you need to prove to you that this was bogus from the start? I deal in credible evidence, not suspicion and accusation.

I think you will find that cases start with an accusation and work on from there.

One of the charges remains but the Swedish authorities are not pursuing it much - perhaps because it is not seen as a serious matter, I don't know.

What has always bothered me is why people said 'Assange = hero, therefore cannot be guilty of anything'. BS to that.  He remains a man whose sexual activities seemed a bit questionable, to me - convinced of his own charms he may be.  The accuser was one of his own supporters.

Relevant to whether or not what he did Leaks-wise was heroic?  Not at all. Relevant to whether or not he is as a man admirable?  Yes.

And you're still hung up on testimony? Good god.
