    Either the bill gets passed - yaay - or the GOP House blocks it and does more damage to their party among Hispanics.  

    Another effort WILL be made.  Meanwhile, demographics won't change.

    If I had to predict, I think the GOP House will pass it or something close enough to consider it done.  They are correct to sense the Nuevo Berlin Wall provisions won't get anywhere as far as implementation (we lack money and DHS experts don't see a wall as an answer).  But the political costs are real.  They are a bleeding wound in fact.

    And no, I don't think the Shelby County decision will save them...the Law of Unintended Consequences may just come back to bite them there as right wing vote suppression laws create blow-back among minorities.
