    The hard part is data acquisition.  The two major data storage system manufacturers both have systems that store 1.5 petabytes.  That's 1,500,000,000,000,000 bytes of info.  

    The Utah site will probably store two yottabytes of data or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes of info.  That's why the cost of the building is $1B and the stuff inside is $2B.

    And, the NSA never discards anything. Ever.
