    ...believed what they were doing was right and proper - and they felt they were patriots in their own way.  That was the point I was making.

    I am surprised the Snowden supporters are starting to mix in concerns about foreign intelligence gathering.  

    The strongest arguments Snowden has are his allegations US intelligence agencies violated the constitutional rights of Americans.

    Once you start morphing this into an argument that spying abroad on foreigners is immoral or illegal you are in a different place.  All countries have laws against being spied on.  All countries do it.  When they get caught, depending on the situation, there can be consequences.  Americans currently languish in foreign prisons for spying and foreigners languish in our prisons.
