    and found it by virtue of a comment in a diary about how no one's writing diaries about voting rights. Any publicity is good publicity!

    Very nice diary. I'm going to send it on to some good-hearted but shockingly uneducated in-laws.

      when I titled the diary. Not only does the title bring Foxworthy to mind, the 'hover' preview mentions him and the game show. I can see how folks would pass over it without lookin' deeper.

      That test really upset my mom. Like me, she knew that the literacy tests were one method used to disenfranchise non-whites...and like me, she had no clue as to how utterly malevolent they were. It really is shocking to read over that 'test'.
