  •  Cyberwar's victims (0+ / 0-)

Since the beginning of organized human societies the main victims of war have been the poor and the weak. The very fact that we are finding Neanderthal genes in Cro-magnom fossils shows that there was likely a war on women 50,000 years ago.

But a cyber-war is likely to affect the middle class and the rich far more than the poor. It seems likely that our collective response to such attacks will be faster and more effective. After all, we can't have the stock market or the commodities exchange messed up, can we?

No doubt about it; we are already fighting cyber wars. I am amazed that folks on this site are more outraged by what Snowdon has revealed than by the data mining of the Kochs and others for profit and politics. Both are weapons of war.
