    The rec list giveth and it taketh.  :-)  

    There was a time here when I farted and it made the rec list. Then there are times that I write what is a analytical and deep diary and it scrolls away.  (This one is neither).  

    I had really backed away, but came back the last couple days.  I enjoy Dkos, but I'm not sure it matters much anymore, iof it ever did.  

    The same people generally saying the same things.  But seen as fun, I guess it is ok.  And if it is mostly just a debating place for fun, then is it really worth getting enraged at those with whom one disagrees?  

    It's a video game, I think.

      No, I agree -- it's a video game with some educational qualities and the occasional ability to influence political fundraising and mobilization.   These days I'm most interested in the not-overtly-political, informational stuff like on language, obscure aviation history, arctic weather, Mars...
