    Chinook salmon this year are threatened by the relaxation of water temperature standards
     Never knew there were water temp standards.  Glad to hear they exist and that someone is monitoring them.

      It can kill them and definitely inhibit their reproduction. And don't forget how hot the Sacramento Valley gets in the summer- it's not hard for the water to overheat!
