    I would guess, have understood this very well for quite a while now.  Which is why Romney's "47%," spoken from a position of obscene and unacknowledged privilege and access, was so incredibly offensive.

    Even if there is no "great crime" behind obscene wealth, I have increasingly come to see that kind of vast accumulation of wealth, goods, and services in individual hands as THE great crime against humanity.  Especially in the face of humanitarian and environmental disasters we continue to fail to address, much less solve, and which are only getting worse.  The Wal-Mart heirs who continue, disgustingly, to profit off the network we all have constructed, which the "lessers" of us pay for so our "betters" can continue to accumulate more than they could ever use in a thousand lifetimes, are worthy of some serious time, IMHO--be it penitentiary or genuine community service.
