domestic politics from international affairs. Do you imagine the latter cannot possibly impact the former?

    •  Kos doesn't control the wreck list, (0+ / 0-)

we do.  If it's all Snowden all the time it's clear that Kossaks prefer that to international news, the War on Women, voting rights, Republican obstruction of every fucking thing we say we care about, etc.

It's a shiny new object for Obama's detractors and they're doubling down, possibly as a set up for another revival of Jane Hamsher's failed but zombie-like effort to join the Tea Party and bring down both political parties.  I do not welcome our new overlords.

I'm not looking for a love that will lift me up and carry me away. A love that will stroll alongside and make a few amusing comments will suffice.

this comment. it isn't a question of what we write about so much as how often and whether it was in the last 10 minutes.

But as to your question do you imagine that the expertise in commenting about it carries over from one to the other?

      •  Surely an empowered voter (0+ / 0-)

should be informed about both domestic and international issues? And why can't we expect Kos to help keep us informed about both? "Think globally, act locally'?

        •  as a blog including diaries? yes (0+ / 0-)

expecting the FP to direct you to informed comment? yes!

          empowering discussion? yes! and yes!

Assuming the FP has the expertise to independently write about it in a manner that would make you proud to reread it in a year?  Um...
