    If there is one chance in a gajillion if this happening along the proposed Keystone line, then it's just morally wrong to approve it.

    That this was a train just tells me it's just not safe to transport this stuff AT ALL, and we should spend oil subsidies on building an alternative energy grid and helping bring down the cost of Teslas and extend range of other electric cars and building charging infrastructure.  Hell use it to buy gas vehicles off the road.  

    Outlaw plastic bags and bottles ( they can be made from veggies).  Make petroleum fucking obsolete.  

    No one anywhere should ever be in the path of this foul deadly earth-destroying shit.  Pipeline, truck, or train.

    When is the destruction going to be enough.  How many people have to die, how many rivers spoiled?

    What a horrible tragedy.  Should be a crime that this much danger came anywhere near this town

      in the argument for the xl pipeline by saying the pipeline won't have crashes the way railroad cars do.

        a tar sands pipeline leaked just a few weeks ago, flowed down the streets into the storm drains, and killed a river.

        So yeah, it didn't blow up.  But they can't say it's safe from destroying people and nature.
