    from someone who's medical problems are, well, complicated--find one who admits he/she doesn't know anything about something medical.  Those who switch to babytalk or who in so many words call you a liar--run.

    Srsly, I had one GP who I asked about some really wonky neuro symptom I'd been having.  (If you want to quibble, he was an osteopath.)  He looked me in the eye and said, "Eew!"  God, I miss him.

      I had one 'doctor' who told me he liked patients who didn't argue and just listened.  Couldn't leave fast enough.
