I don't want Republican women telling me what to do with my body any more than Republican men. I don't want Democratic men or women telling me what to do with my body. I don't want anyone telling my husband what to do with his body. Nobody has the right to limit any adult's choices for how to treat his or her body.

And men aren't unaffected by these restrictions. Yes, women are the ones who will die because of these laws. But if I die, leaving my husband to raise our kids, he's affected. If we lose a daughter, he will mourn just as much as I will. The war on women is just one front of the war on the 99% of us who aren't super rich and powerful. They are also attacking workers, soldiers, educators, the poor, the ill, and every minority. It's all part of the same thing, and we have to remember that the enemy is not men. Many men are on our side, and we must allow them to be. The enemy are those, men or women, who would take away our freedom.

"The Democrats are the lesser evil and that has to count for something. Good and evil aren't binary states. All of us are both good and evil. Being less evil is the trajectory of morality." --SC
