    The SurveyUSA poll shows his job approval at 32-50.  Very hard to see him winning a general with that, if he makes it that far.

      Seattle has an unemployment rate less than 5%, so I guess this is another exception to James Carville's famous saying.

        McGinn's unpopularity stems from the out of control police department (Large number of uses of unnecessary force) and his complete inability to form a working relationship with state legislators that a good mayor needs to have.

        Personally, I'm going to vote for either Murray or Steinbrueck. I like Grey, but she's somewhat of a fringe candidate with no real shot at winning.

          the entire Seattle City Council and get into a foolish fight with the city attorney. I live in Lakewood but follow Seattle news. McGinn just looks inept.
